This policy explains what information Odi collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Odi you agree to this policy.
Account & profile: when you sign in through a provider (such as Google or Facebook), we receive basic account details like your name and email. You add profile information yourself — display name, a short intro, gender, birth year, country, and an optional photo.
Activity: the Pods you host, join, or request, and the messages you post within a Pod.
Technical: standard data such as your session and basic usage needed to keep the service running and secure.
To run Odi: to create your account, show your public profile to other Pod members, match you with Pods, coordinate meetups, send Pod-related email notifications, and keep the service safe and working.
Your public profile (name, photo, intro, and general details like country and age band) is visible to hosts and members of Pods you interact with. Do not put information in your profile that you would not want other travelers to see.
We use trusted providers to operate Odi — for example, hosting and database/authentication (Supabase) and transactional email (Resend). They process data only to provide these services to us. We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, hosted Pods, requests, and comments, subject to any retention required by law.
You can view and edit your profile at any time, and delete your account from your profile page. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access or delete your data — contact us to make a request.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please help by keeping your account access private.
Odi is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy as Odi evolves. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
